Max Guy, Strategic Relationship Manager

An accomplished IT sales professional, Max brought with him a wealth of experience and knowledge when he joined our team as Strategic Relationship Manager. 

Strong partnerships are the cornerstone of every successful business, and Max’s remit is to help us cement our status and enhance our portfolio of products with key technology partners including Microsoft and Cisco.

His background helping organisations deploy modern technology solutions has given him an insight into how new technologies such as automation and AI can open up opportunities in the real world.

“As part of the product team I work across sales, marketing and other areas of the business to help make sure our products are aligned to the competitive, fast-paced marketplace we operate in, and our sales team are supported in their efforts,” explains Max.

“It’s crucial to stay up to date with what’s going on in the market, as well as our customers’ sectors. A tech leader one year can be back of the queue the next. The goalposts are constantly changing but that’s what makes the tech environment so interesting to work in.

Strong relationships with partners mean we often get to hear the inside track about new features and developments first. For instance we were quick to incorporate automation tools and AI into our next generation Security Operations Centre, which protects our customers from cyber threats round the clock.

Using automation tools allows us to swiftly carry out initial detection, triaging and resolutions, before an attack can cause serious damage. Replacing cumbersome manual processes with the latest automation tools delivers real measurable impact, and it’s where we stand out in the market.

The culture here is fantastic, we’re an ambitious team and fast to react, and we can quickly alter direction and stand up new and proven products and services when we identify an opportunity to solve a problem for our customers.

I like the people I work with too, there’s a real energy behind all pulling in the right direction and it just feels right.
